When we purchased Sables Dashing Guy as a yearling at the Myers Sale we just couldn’t pass him up. Not only is he a son of Frenchmans Guy whose progeny have proven to be among the elite competitors in the performance horse industry with earnings over $15 million. He also has AQHA Hall of Fame horseman Spencer L. Childers’ racing influences all over his bottom side. Mr. Childers’ breeding program produced some of the best quarter horses in racing history including AQHA Hall of Fame horses.
Sables Dashing Guy's dam is Sables Dash si 96, AAA winner of $61,271, Grade 1 finalist, and a Black Type Producer. Sables Dashing Guy is the maternal half-brother of Painted Sable si 106, AAA winner of $170,275 and 2012 Superior Race Horse. Sables Dash’s sire is Dash Thru Traffic si 95. Dash Thru Traffic is a World Champion 2-year old Colt, winner of the All-American Futurity, and winner of $1,056,943. He is the sire of 2 World Champions and 25 Stakes winners, with a progeny earnings over $7 million.
