Snap Back Ike “Ike” is for sure one of the best horses we have ever raised. When you combine his pedigree, size, and disposition we felt like he really deserved a chance to prove himself as a stallion.
Ike carries the Cream dilution gene and one copy of the Agouti gene. He is also Homozygous Black meaning his offspring cannot be chestnut/sorrel.
Snap Back Ike goes back to Driftwood three times and Doc Bar two times on the top side which really covers the top roping and cutting horses in the breed. Ike’s grand sire on the top is Sun Frost. 14 horses in the 2018 & 2019 National Finals Rodeos in the barrel racing carried Sun Frost blood.
The bottom side of Snap Back Ike’s pedigree is very proven in Quarter Horse Racing. He has Easy Jet, Beduino, Dash for Cash, and Special Effort blood all on the bottom of his pedigree. Ike’s third dam Cindio produced Ah Sigh. Ah Sigh started 29 races winning 13 races and placing second or third 11 more times cashing in on $512,901 in her career.
Ike is truly special and in time will prove it. His first foals were born in 2021. Snap Back Ike died in 2022.
